Watch a film get made.
Then go make yours.
Ripples is about filmmaking, but the human side of it: the wisdom, not the technique. How the greats carry fear, ego, and collaboration, and what making a film does to the person making it. The art is only as healthy as the human behind it.
Everyone teaches technique. Almost nobody looks at the person holding the camera.
Ripples starts from one belief: the art is only ever as healthy as the human making it. Fear, ego, collaboration, self-knowledge, the relationships that hold a production together or break it. That is where films are won and lost, and it is the one part of filmmaking nobody documents.
Technique appears only when it reveals the person.
First-film arcs
One person makes their first film with help, and the whole thing is documented: the doubt, the plan, the shoot, the finish, the first watch with an audience. Four episodes, then the finished film itself, shipped whole.
Mini documentaries
Short portraits of established filmmakers. Not their gear, not their workflow: how they operate as humans. Every portrait sends the audience to the subject's own body of work.
The arcs show a ripple starting. The mini docs show where it can lead.
